About

Little Angel

The parents of a Sydney girl who drowned on a school excursion have broken down and left an inquest into her death.

Eight-year-old Armani Dirani died in 2006 - she was found lifeless at the bottom of the pool at the Glenbrook swim centre.

The Cambridge Gardens student was on a school excursion - an inquest beginning today is seeking to find answers for her family as to how she could have drowned.

There were four lifeguards on duty and ten teachers present.

Armani's family were in court today but proceedings were interrupted after her mother and father broke down.

They left in tears - driving away in the family car with the number plate Armani.

Her father says he hopes the inquest prevents a tragedy like this ever happening again.

My memory

I didn't know you personally, but i was a fellow student and Cambridge Gardens and was your buddy class at the time. We all miss you so much, and wish this tradegy never happened. I remember wanting to relive that day so I could warn the teachers to look out for you and make sure you lived. R.I.P, may Allah bless and give your family love, and hope.

My Memory

A Dirani Oct 11, 2008

Never to be forgotten ...as you are one of a sort,
I am so grateful I got to meet you... as memories cannot be bought.
This is a disastrous and heartbreaking situation...yet I am able to give a grin,
Because I remember your beauty... and how much happiness you brought your kin.
I know... even though you are high above,
You still radiate your endless love...
MAY ALLAH (S.W.A) GIVE STRENGTH TO YOUR FAMILY AND ALL THOSE WHICH YOU ADORE,
MAY THEY SEE ENDLESS DAYS OF SUCCESS AND MUCH MORE.
