Christie Allen will always hold a special place in my heart. As a shy 12 & 13 year old, her passionate innocence in Goose Bumps gave me goose bumps, and the disco'd desire & devotion of He's My Number One (which she surely sang about me!?!) was like a triumphant fanfare declaring my entrance to manhood...! Christie you were gorgeous, like most of us I unfortunately lost track of you as we got older. I recently heard of your Mushroom re-union performance in '98, sorry that I didnt get to see it, maybe I still can somewhere, possibly on the net. I'm also intrigued by your settling in country WA and yr excursion into Country and Western music, woulda liked to hear that..Rest in Peace gorgeous and thank you for being spectacularly you, and for warming a young boy's cold heart with yr joy and passion...
