Rosa's memory

rose.decandia Mar 30, 2010

May you rest in peace Zia Francescina, as throughout your life you have worked very hard for your family and I remember your caring nature and thoughtfulness for others. I thank you for the phone calls. It seemed like you had me and my family in your thoughts.

Angela's memory

Angela Mar 14, 2010

I shared many happy moments with my mum; going for a pizza or having prawns at home, a walk for a gelato or a bus trip to the City. She thought these outings should be spared for special occasions, but I persisted that we do these simple things together. These enjoyable moments will forever be with me.

My mum had an inner strength and together with her insight, brought about the biggest ever lifetime transformation for me, for which I am eternally grateful. It was HER determination and perseverance which brought the family from Italy to Australia.

My thoughts are with you, MUM, while you take your journey . . . to be reunited with my dad, my sisters, Zia Concetta and other beloved ones.

May you REST in PEACE, free of pain and suffering - finally!

Maria's memories

I will miss her early morning phone calls when she would ask me to collect the vegetables she prepared for me to take home. The beans , the figs, the basil etc.
I will miss visiting her and sharing special mother daughter moments...

Rosie's memory

Rosie Mar 10, 2010

I remember that Francesca always had a smile on her face. When Aunty Teresa and Zio Joe were still going out, before they were married, Uncle Joe would take me to her place and she was very welcoming and the house was always full of happy people.
Francesca, may you rest in peace - say hello to the angels for me!
