Memories

An exceptional human being

Jason G. Issa Jan 28, 2012

Dr Hale looked after my dad from the late 80s and until he stopped practising. George Hale helped my dad through some tough times. He was not only an excellent physician, but an exceptional and courteous human being who treated us with respect, dignity and had a great sense of humour. He will be greatly missed.
Thank you Dr Hale. May you rest in peace.

Although George Hale was a very busy and senior city cardiologist he was unfailingly courteous and patient with a junior colleague building up a service at the periphery. Truly he was a gentleman physician who set a standard for all of to follow. I will always remember fondly a man who brought so much grace to the practice of medicine.

I offer my warmest condolence to his family.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of George and Betty Hale. George cared for my father many years ago and continued on the farming tradition at Bucaan.

The Man on the Tractor

Kirsty Evans Oct 18, 2011

My lasting memories of Dr George Senior are of a quiet man who loved to spend time ploughing his paddocks on his tractor with his earmuffed cap on his head while Betty kept charge of the pager and he was a mean BBQ chef who loved a good red. I was always in awe of the relationship between George and Betty - a solid, loving partnership and I will always have fond memories of my time on "The Farm".
I know he will be sadly missed. My thoughts are with George Junior, Jo, Lou, Tom, Simon and families.
Kirst.
