Nanna (Joan) was a warm and loving person. She welcomed me into her heart and home. She reminded me of my own grandmother who had passed on a few years before. She always had a kind word and was willing to share her experiences of her trips overseas.

She was always full of life and always on the go. The pace of her life always left me breathless and envious that she had more energy.than I ( and I was younger lol)

She had a quirky relationship with her great granddaughter Gabriella. They loved to spend time together and Gabby was for ever painting pictures for her favourite nanna.

Will be well missed. And one day I hope to aspire to the lady she was.
