This is a Tribute for family and friends to gather, share their memories, and celebrate the life of our beloved friend Kenneth Watt. Please feel free to leave your memories and photos
I first met Ken at the Northampton Engineering College (now City University) in 1947 after his release from service in the RAF. We enjoyed the vival then of traditional jazz and went to hear Humphrey Lyttleton (and visiting bands such as that of a young Graeme Bell). Ken qualified and became a structural engineer, and worked in the offices of major consulting engineers in London. He soon joined our lively bunch of girls and fellows in a large West London flat, scene of great parties. We enjoyed life in spite of continued rationing of many goods (but not of beer). After his departure to live and work in Australia we kept in touch by telephone every few months and enjoyed meeting on his occasional visits to England. Mary and I will miss him and our thoughts go out to Inga and the family at this time.
