while I was growing up in Rowville, where Gran moved to after Aspendale, I remember many many rounds of rummy king, new market, racing demons and scrabble. She ...(BTW according to Gran, "she" was the cats mother... so can't write that); ...Gran was too good at scrabble so we avoided that one, racing demons was a fearce battle between three generations, the eldest generation being most fearce and dominating far too often...

Elephants were her favorite wild animal, I'm pretty sure if Gran believed in reincarnation she would love stomping around and making friends with birds... She also liked bird watching with Pa.

I asked her in England 2007 what her favorite music was. Gran was almost shocked by my question as if Opera wasn't in the top 40. So opera it is. I'd like to find out which opera's are her favorites and have a listen, maybe Dick knows this.

I don't know about Religion, I'm guessing Opera was Gran's Religion. Gran also lived by well practiced values in etiquette, grace and integrity. Her spirtuality I think was with a cultured understanding of literature, music and a unique and gracious view of the world.
