Tim the Tutor

Bede Moy Feb 09, 2011

Well it's nearly 12 months since we said see you later to Tim and it seems like only yesterday.
As a tutor, Tim was outstanding. His relaxing style made us, as parents, confident that he would bring out the best in our daughter. He quickly put her at ease and we made a new friend in the process.

Tim had some of the worst jokes I have ever heard but you had to listen to them all because there would always be a good one hidden away among the bad ones.

Tim taught my sister in his first year out teaching at Brigidine Maroubra and she still had photo's of long haired Tim at Maroubra beach.

He is still sorely missed and I am sure he is hitting golf balls long and straight,

Tim Lynch "The Boy of 100 Farts"

Allan Woods Jan 27, 2011

My most amusing memory of Tim Lynch "The Boy of 100 Farts" was in December 1969 at a Nairana Boys Club Richmond one week camp .
I was in the same cabin namely cabin number one.
Each day Tim Lynch got some other boys and himself to count up their farts both loud smelly farts and silencer farts.
Tim Lynch did 100 farts one day and was declared the champion.
Thats why I remember Tim Lynch as " The Boy of 100 Farts"
In later years, Tim Lynch became a champion maths teacher who was much better than average.
Tim Lynch went from "The Boy of 100 Farts" to a rea; Smart Fart.

My memory of Tim Lynch.
