Rod was a beautiful and gentle spirit.
A loving son to his parents, a wonderful Big Brother to his siblings, a perfect Husband, and an amazing Father to Paige.

Taken far too early, and without warning. We thankfully lived each day as if it were our last, and had a fantastic family life. Rod made everyone feel secure and relaxed in his company. He loved entertaining, and was a great host. Happy go lucky by nature, you never heard him utter a bad word about anybody, even those that sought to hurt him by malicious actions. They failed to ruin our love, and only added to their own misery.

The strengths that he had and the happiness we shared gives us strength to move forward without him in our life. The pain we felt is often replaced with many happy and warm memories of our life together, and that can NEVER be taken away.
