About
About our friend Ron Won!
Over these years we have always found Ron to be an extremely generous man helping out anyone in need and always dragging his best friend and loving wife Michele along with him as his off sider. He cherished many people and many things in life, especially his family, the puppys, playing darts, fishing & having a beer or two with his mates. He had a special index finger that was missing a small part, so when he gave us "The finger" we could only laugh. Ron always wore shorts no matter how cold it was. He reckoned it was to show off his sexy nobbly knees. We are all shocked at Ron's unexpected passing and he is so very sadly missed by all of us that ever had the rare privilage of knowing him. Be well assured dear friend that we will all raise a glass to you at Burwood Darts this Sunday. Sadly missing you, from, Les, Annette, Bubbles & hundreds more of your friends.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY OUR DEAR FRIEND RON.

Ron had always expressed a desire to never grow old and infirm, well my darling you never will. 32 years of knowing my soul-mate, with 30 years of marriage celebrated this year. Where do I start? Way back in 1978, at the Sunset Tavern (in the rear of the Ashfield Hotel), I was there with my boyfriend who was ignoring me, so I went and sat on the lap of a strange man. I ended up taking him to work that night and married him 2 years later! You were a biker, and loved your Honda 750-4, and we rode around many places together safely. To this day I always said, with a huge smile, that I never forgave you for throwing me off the back of the bike when you hit a patch of oil in the rain, coming through the bends out of Gosford. You went and checked the condition of THAT DAMNED BIKE FIRST, because I was surrounded by people and was OK! Four years after we married, we welcomed our son Stephen James into the world. How proud you were of him. There is so much of you in him - the good and bad- but he has grown into a fine young man, just like his father.
Ron, I thank you for the many years of joy and happiness you gave me, and hope you are at peace with your father John, and brother Ray. And in Ron's words he would be saying HURRY UP AND GET THIS BULLS... OVER, SO WE CAN GET TO THE WAKE!!!!! With all my love, until we meet again
