About

Teen Lost

Senior Sergeant Peter Jenkins, of the Metropolitan crash investigation unit, said a learner driver was at the wheel when the car careered out of control and hit a telegraph pole before coming to rest against a tree.

A 16-year-old female rear passenger, who took the brunt of the impact, died on the way to hospital. Police have now named her as Stephanie Evans, 16, from Cherrybrook.

She was a student at Pacific Hills Christian School. Students from the school visited the crash scene today, in tears, to place on a tree a badge shaped as a heart with the words "I Love You"  to pay tribute to their lost friend.

The 16-year-old driver and her 14-year-old sister, who was in the front passenger seat, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Westmead Hospital where they were both in a stable condition this afternoon.  They were named by police late this afternoon as Mel Howe, 16, the car's' driver, and sister Rachel,  both of Annangrove.

It has been 2 years now. I remember every moment we spent together at dancing. especially that last night I saw you. we had so much fun that night at dancing, it was just a small group of us. The next morning you were gone. It just broke my heart. i still can't believe it. You always came with a smile on your face and We had some good time. You always laughed and I really trusted you
It is not the same with out you.

I miss you so much. I wish, I could see you again.

My memory

Rachel Lock Sep 01, 2009

We were about 6, 7 years old and we played dress ups. I chose to be sporty and you were posh spice. We made my sister takes photos of us around my pool, posing in all the moves the spice girls would do. I still have the photos and they make me so happy to look at them, i will remember that day with you forever stephy, such a fun memory we shared. Your dearly missed my friend, but we know your with God, up in the clouds dancing above, smiling, doing what you do best. I'll see your pretty face again, whether its sooner or later. I know your worth the wait. I love you and i will forever remember you.
Your with God now .
xoxo

Almost a year =(

Naomi misses Steph Aug 10, 2009

Steffy...it's almost been a year...11 months today =(
I can't believe you're really, truly gone.
I was thinking about all our memories of when we were young. Naming the sheep in Cherrybrook Tech, Indonesian class in grade 7, English class in grade 9, and so much more! Ha, remember when my parents requested me to be in the same class as you when I first moved to PHCS cos you were the only person I knew? =)
And now, 6 years later, we've both moved on.
We went our separate ways, but one thing I know for sure, your name is tatooed on my heart forever.
You'll never know the pain I feel...you'll never know what it feels like, because it's caused by the absence of you. It hurts. A lot.
I'm looking forward to the day where we dance together at the feet of Jesus.
I love you Steph, I love you so much.
