steve was more then a conservationist he was a dad a husband and a hero for many. when i was growing up i watched his show the croc hunter everytime it was on i must have seen every episode at least twice but then i got into other stuff and when i learned of his death i was heart broken and distraught i couldnt belive it but then i looked at wut he has accomplished in his short time here. steve did so many great things that most couldnt accomplish in 2 life times. R.I.P stevo i know ur still swimin with the rays in heaven. may god be with his friends family and loved ones.
To steve i loved watching all of your programs and i still watch them now and i would love to watch new ones but in other words you died doing what you loved.
i remember when we would make new programs and i would always watch them and i miss him deeply and i would love for him to have a second life. R.I.P steve
WOW!!!! Steve was an absolute LEGEND!!!! I cannot compliment him enough, his passion and enthusiasm for animals and nature was plain and obvious for all to see. Stolen from us far too early, I'm sure he had much more to give, his spirit lives and continues in Terri, Bindi, Wes and in Australia Zoo.
From catching the grumpiest of salt water crocs to kissing the deadliest snakes on the planet, there was nothing Steve wouldn't do to prove to us that if nature was left to its own devices, we would never be at risk. For years I watched with admiration and complete respect for what he was trying to achieve. I only hope that Bindi harbours his desire and flair and the she and the crew of Australia Zoo can provide me, my children, and the next generation with more inciteful and compelling documentaries.
I love to watch him on t.v. He was an honest man, someone who truely believed in what he fought for. I remember a show with his dad and Teri on it where he broke his finger. I remember saying now that's a man. He just straightened it out and continued with the capture. I feel for his wife and children. I am glad that they can see him of videos and such to keep his memory alive for them.
My 5 year old grandson watches Animal Planet every day ,he loves to watch the Croc Hunter he does not understand that he is gone he says that he is on TV he is not gone, he watches him with so much excitement and love for what he does . Thank You for keeping his shows on my grandson looks for them everyday .i wish we could find videos of them .Our deepest sympathy to all of his family and friends.GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU

i hated watching animals and that kind of stuff but my sister liked watching them and she is a big fan of the crocadile hunter i stared watching the crocadile hunter just 3 months before steve irwin died i became a big fan of him and wished to meet him one day but just 3 months after i started watching his shows he died i wish i could meet you some day R.I.P STEVE IRWIN
When i heard on the radio i was heartbroken ! i wish i got to meet you, what an inspiration !!! i watched you on crocodile hunter and well you were amazing !! Just wish the best for your family ! i no your looking down on them and looking out for them !! I loved Steve Irwin so much, and still do. I just want to say that I thank you for being an awesome light unto the world. Not that I hadn't always respected, loved and stood up for Nature, but you really taught me a thing or two. On the 13th of January, 2008, I visited Australia Zoo for the first time ever, sheded a few tears and took ten tonne of photographs, it was truly amazing and a memory that I will have with me f0r a hell of a long time, I also was one of the lucky ones as I got to meet Terri, Robert (son), and also Bindi Irwin, guys you have done such a fantastic, fanfabulus job. I remember sitting with my pop watching u on tv loving every bit of what u do!! u wrer great the way u wrer with the crocs i could not belive it u were amazing, and that moment with the arangatan i cryed it was beautiful. when i heard u had been taken from as i was at work behind the bar an stoped to turn up the news i was deverstated it was like apart of me was gone too. i did try to meet u but the time i went in 2000 u had been bitten by a croc an could not come out so terri did, the was ok but i just wonted to see da croc hunter do it for real! then the next time i came to da zoo u were all away, an now its too late all i have is me dvds and books memorys which i will tresure 4ever! RIP
